Time to Dream ...
Hi everyone, if you're a lover of all things Alice I'm sure you'll love today's post. The paper collection is by Scrapmir, is called 'Time to Dream' and although not new out on the market, it was a collection I hadn't seen until a couple of months ago. We just had to get it in to share with you all. I thought the colours in the collection were really unique and all the characters we know and love are just as we know them from the Alice books by Lewis Caroll. There are single sheets of cards; one of red roses, one of white roses and a whole sheet of cut apart with quotes from the stories on too.
The paper packs come in a set of 10 sheets, in 12 x 12 and 8 x 8 size, and are 190gsm. There's also die cut pieces (39), chipboard pieces (18) and the cutest 8 x 8 envelope sheet to cut up to make into envelopes and pockets.
I used both paper sizes to decorate our Book Box and Mini Album Set and then added layers of chipboard and die cut pieces to add dimension to the covers of the album and box, and tuck spots to the pages in the album. I didn't create a PDF Tutorial for the project but have added lots of pictures below so you can follow the look if you're inspired and want to make a similar project with this collection.
I love the teal colour and used it to decorate the inside of the box.
I created a shaker cover on the album using a square die and some fun foam and added some red heart confetti from my stash behind the acetate.
Each page In the album has a pull-out tag. The inside cover has cards cut from the 12 x 12 and 8 x 8 papers, tucked into one of the mini envelopes and layered to make a pocket.
I combined the large chipboard piece and one of the die cuts to create a tuck spot on this page spread and added some of the 8 x 8 cards behind a cut out on the tag for extra detail.
The large cut outs in the collection make great tags. I love the quotes on them.
There are so many ways you can work the papers together to get different looks on your projects.
And here's the full cover.

This is my ‘take’ on how to put the papers together and I hope that I’ve inspired you to be creative with them too. You can find links to all of the products featured in today’s post below.
